About Me
Hi,
I am Jahanvi Agrawal (pronouns she/her), a licensed Clinical Psychologist in India. I hope to help you to recognize and work through your unhelpful patterns, and rebuild new patterns.
I am a trauma informed, queer affirmative therapist and interweaves research based techniques in my therapeutic approach. Over the years, I've worked with individuals across all ages - adults, adolescents, and young children - navigating various challenges in life.
I have taken over 2,000 therapy sessions with individuals who were experiencing stressful situations, difficulties in their personal lives, interpersonal relationship issues, anxiety, depression, as well as emotion regulation difficulties.
I believe therapy is most meaningful when it's collaborative. My focus is on understanding what truly matters to you and creating a path that feels supportive and personalized. When needed, I also work closely with psychiatrists and other allied professionals so that you receive the most comprehensive care possible.
I have experience of working in:
Rehabilitation Centres
Psychiatric Facilities
Mental Health Clinics
Multiple School Set-ups (Inclusive schools, Special schools)
Non-Governmental Organizations
In my private practice, I work with individuals with different socio-economic backgrounds based in India and outside of India. I place client well-being at the center of my work, using a collaborative approach to help clients navigate and transform challenging life experiences.
I have been passionate about mental health since my college years. I started engaging in community services as a mental health volunteer since 2017 by working with NGOs and organizations to help to shape a more compassionate society by creating awareness and psychoeducating the community members about mental health.
Today, I have the privilege of furthering this by being able to design workshops and interactive games to promote mental health literacy and psychological well-being.

Snapshots from my work

In 2024, I co-created Indian Mental Health Summit, a one of its kind mental health conference in India that has impacted over thousand psychologists.
This was during one of my community engagements. In this picture, I am psychoeducating them about mental health using a handout created by Holistic Training and Development Centre, an NGO I volunteer for.
As an independent researcher, you will often find me at conferences presenting my research findings, this snapshot is from Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists' Annual Conference, 2023.
